2 Weeks!

As of today I have two weeks until I leave!! It's a bittersweet day!

Not only is today the 2 week mark, but it's also the day I found out I didn't get accepted to get the grant for an extra bag :( I was so disappointed! Now if I want to bring an extra bag I have to pay like 250 dollars...and clearly that is not happening. So now I have to open up my suitcases and start downsizing on what I'm bringing...it makes me sad! When you go over to Africa you want to bring as much as possible to bless the socks off people...yet, you need to bring stuff for yourself (medicine, bug nets...ect..) It's a hard feeling.

Seems like my Mom and I are going to learn to be AMAZING packers to try and fit everything! hahaha!

I also want to say Thank You yet again to people who have kept me in their thoughts and prayers. People come up to me that I don't even talk to (rarely) and they're telling me how they keep thinking of me and my trip...it makes me so happy and loved and comforted!
